44

I'm not sure about the changes our country is going through. I can only hope for the best. What I AM sure about is that the man in this photo, goofing off and playing with a baby, can't be all bad. I HAVE HOPE!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Several blogs I follow are participating in a fun little thing today, I thought I would share it here.

Basically the gist of it is, to honor the changes being made in our country today, post a picture on your blog that speaks to you of hope, optimism, etc. It doesn't to have anything to do with the inauguration itself, just something that speaks to you on a personal level. Then post the photo along with 44 words about it or about today itself, since Obama is our 44th President.

You can do this regardless of your political views, you did not have to vote for Obama in order to be able to participate.

This idea originated here: http://practicalbrownbob.blogspot.com/2009/01/44-calling-all-bloggers.html and I first learned of it on Creative Musings.

Ha ha jk...I totally agree, we'll just have to see how handles being president and what he does (or doesn't do).

Blessed be the name of Socialism. It's not until you meet people in the middle of the street (in an arguably conservative city, albeit a VERY democratic state), who know his name, and can proclaim with a solemn allegiance, that this is change, that this is socialism, that this man will pay for your health care AND your mortgage payment.

Regardless that this person was a drunk, who smelled very much like rum. It's neat when you learn the differences in scent between the various flavors of alcoholic beverages, they tend to sting the senses, purge the air particles, freshen the fat man's dirty beard...

And for all purposes of mind, no, I am not drinking. Not today. Even though, I can now.

Have YOU been saved?

Ah...the return of Delron 224. Hello old friend. I love your comment, although I have no idea of what you are trying to say (much like our word wars on your old mac lappy).
